Am I locked into a contract?
No. Every plan is month-to-month. Cancel any time from your subscription portal and your service runs through the end of the paid month. There are no cancellation fees.
Who owns my domain, website, and phone number?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, your business number can be ported to another provider if you leave, and we hand over your website files, content, and customer records. We think holding your business hostage is a terrible way to keep customers.
What does “transparent pass-through costs” actually mean?
Each plan lists exactly what's included: phone numbers, mailboxes, website and Google profile work, and CRM seats. Direct provider costs — carrier texting registration, per-message and per-minute usage, phone numbers, domain registration — are passed through at provider cost with no markup, itemized on a written quote. Nothing is provisioned or billed until you've approved that quote, and we alert you before usage costs grow.
I already have a website or business email. Do I have to replace them?
Not necessarily. On your first call we'll review what you have. If it's solid, we connect it to the system instead of rebuilding it — and your setup quote reflects that.
How does the business phone line work?
You get a dedicated business number on its own isolated account that rings your existing phone through our mobile app. Calls and texts live in one inbox, missed calls trigger an automatic text-back, and after-hours callers get an auto-text instead of a dead end. Your personal number stays private. Calls and inbound texts work from day one; outbound texting switches on once carrier verification of your business completes.
Is the texting legal and spam-safe?
Yes — this is a core part of what you pay us for. Your texting is registered with carriers in your business’s name (called A2P 10DLC registration), messages only go to people who contacted you or opted in, every message identifies your business, and STOP requests are honored immediately and permanently. We never cold-text purchased or scraped lists.
How does the business email work?
You get a managed mailbox at your own domain, with the technical deliverability setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) handled for you. During onboarding you can start with a clearly labeled BetterBis address that forwards to your current inbox; your custom-domain mailbox goes live once your domain is verified — we never claim it’s active before it actually is. Email conversations join your CRM timeline as that integration rolls out to founding partners.
How much of this is live today?
We're honest about being early: BetterBis is onboarding its first founding contractors. The business phone line, texting compliance, unified call/text inbox, and CRM come from a working platform you'll see on a demo account before you sign anything. Website content, Google profile work, and listings cleanup are delivered by our team. A few pieces — like email conversations appearing on the CRM timeline — are still rolling out, and your written quote states exactly what's delivered, by software or by people, and when.
Do you handle my customer payments?
No. BetterBis never touches money between you and your customers. Estimates and job values in the system are your operational records; you invoice and collect however you do today. The only payment we process is your subscription.
How fast will I see results?
Honestly: it depends on your market and starting point. Phone and follow-up improvements show up in the first weeks because missed calls stop being missed. Local SEO builds over months. We will never promise a specific ranking or revenue number — anyone who does is guessing.
Who is behind BetterBis?
BetterBis is built and operated by Instruxit. You get a real team that answers, not a reseller white-labeling someone else’s dashboard.
